The Cage - Indoor sports hall Katschberg

The indoor sports hall covers over 450 m² and is just a 5-minute walk from Hotel Das KATSCHBERG. So if you don't ‘just’ want to go hiking & biking on your active holiday, you can also keep fit in the sports hall. Fitness, bouldering and a sports court invite you to enjoy a varied workout. With the included Mountain & Valley Card, you can use the sports hall once a day for your workout.

Summer toboggan run at Katschberg

Katschi’s gold journey is waiting for you very close to the Hinteregger family hotel. Lots of fun and action in the great outdoors for the whole family. The summer toboggan ride takes you through the gold-digger’s house, along the winding forest path, through the dark tunnels to the glittering mountain interior, and past the gold pannery.
Parents have the option to watch the older children, who are allowed to steer the sled by themselves, from the Herzerlbankerl.

Geo-coaching Katschberg

Highest altitude brewery KatschBEER

The show brewery in the Stamperl restaurant has been brewing its own beer - Katschbeer - since December 2015. Around 1,000 litres of beer can be produced per day using a new, patented brewing process. Production is based on state-of-the-art technology. Visitors can marvel at this exciting process at any time during guided tours of the brewery and, of course, taste the Katschbeer from the Salzburg mountains.

Cheese course on the Katschberg

At the weekly cheese course, anyone interested can easily learn the art of cheesemaking: with a few litres of hay milk, the right recipe and carefully selected ingredients, nothing stands in the way of the taste experience.
The homemade cream cheese can be taken home with you. The cheese course also includes a fruity aperitif, a delicious cheese snack and the obligatory ‘schnapps’ in between, a short cheese quiz and a cheese diploma for all those who pass.
