Especially in summer there are also many possibilities to spent a fabulous time at Katschberg.

At family mountain Katschberg you are in good hands, which also tells you the slogan: You are able to do everything without a lot off effort.
For horse lovers the Katschberg offers a alpine horse center with boxes where you can accommodate your own horse, riding school etc.. On the Lungauer and the Kärntner side you will find beautiful nature spots, especially the nature reserve Pöllatal is well known and also called the valley of 1000 Orchids.

This valley is also a beautiful attraction for children as there are no cars allowed and you can only reach it wire a special train called "Tschu-Tschu-Bahn", by foot or with the bicycle.


During the summer month there are also many tradtional mountain huts open where you can stop for snacks and enjoy a cosy atmosphere. We can also arrange a horse carriage which picks you up in front of the hotel and brings you to the mountain hut "Pritzhütte" in the national park Gonntal, this special experience guarantees beautiful views.

The hiking region Katschberg consists off approx. 200 kilometers off hiking trails, which will lead you up to an altitude of 3.100 meters over the sea.
