We take care of our guest and so it’s only natural
that our kitchen offers a wide range of different food’s.
Start your day with our special breakfast
buffet and if you
want you can enjoy a light lunch with salad bar at he side
everyday. Highlight of the day will be our dinner. Accompanied
by a daily and wide selection of fresh salads you can enjoy
our famous and classic Austrian food as well as international
specialities – like Asian food – or seasonal cooking
and specialities from the Kärnten region. Austria is well
known for his sweets and desserts so “Strudel, Apfelkuchen
and more” finally finishes every evening off in a fine
style!
If you want to dine out you will find a different menu in the “Kärtner
Einkehr” – our latest addition here on the
Katschberg. In this pictoresque newly built hut you will be served
typical local food like “Bratwurst” or “Fondue” and
an outstanding choice of cheese, wine, beer and the typical Austrian
Schnaps.
 
….and the special cellars
“Smoke on the Mountain” might sometimes be seen in
a very special and small area in our hotel. And this means that
Wolfgang Hinteregger, owner of the hotel, has interested guests
in the “Cigar Corner”. If you are a wine-connaisseur
or you would like to learn about wine, join the patron in one of
his regular wine presentations. You can sample all kind of different
wines and learn how to distinguish between them.
